Cushion House is one of the leading independent manufacturers of custom-made cushions in Australia offering a nationwide delivery service across the country. Being an Australian family-owned and run business with over 35 years of experience, their quality manufactured cushion covers are made on their premises – meaning they have total control over the high quality that they demand for their bespoke cushion-making services.

Organik Web was tasked with designing and developing a brand new website completely from the ground up to allow for a more bespoke online store and to become a part of their company’s rebrand.

A bespoke design to match a contemporary rebrand

Organik Web was able to fully utilise all of its skills in this project, with Cushion House giving the go-ahead for a full brand redesign alongside a website redesign. We took the appropriate time to flesh out a contemporary brand design that kept the business feel while bringing it up to current demographic appeals.

On the website side, Organik Web brought their all to develop an eCommerce website with a difference. The main feature of this new website is the custom sizing feature, allowing customers to adjust the size of cushions being ordered to custom fit a customer’s existing couches, outdoor chairs, and more.

Optimising for SEO

Marketing was a high priority in the brand and website redesign. Cushion House needed its entire aesthetic to be marketable across many platforms online, and that meant needing a website that could assist with promotion.

Our team developed the website with SEO at the front of mind – including adding optimised metadata, H1s and ALT text, to help Google read and rank each site, for target search phrases.
